The most common feedback I get from clients is that I listen....  I am a Sussex based interior designer and after graduating from a Degree in Interior Architecture and Design I held senior positions at larger interior design practices. My approach to interior design is simple and tactile. I strive to create interiors that engage and lift people. I have designed restaurants of all shapes and sizes over the years and am able to advise on your project's spatial requirements prior to site acquisition, as well as how to make the most of any existing sites. With extensive retail design experience I have worked on roll out projects as well as one-off stores for independents. I now run a small practice from a converted brewery in Lewes and have 15 years of experience in designing successful restaurant / bar and retail interiors. This encompasses the following:

I offer my interior design services throughout the UK and especially love working on projects in the south east of England, being within easy reach of London, Brighton, Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells.

New Site

If you are thinking of taking on a new site it is well worth getting the interior designer onboard prior to site acquisition. I can take your business plan and design a feasibility plan that will identify the size of the property needed, services required and other priorities that will help you when choosing your site. The plan in turn will help a Quantity Surveyor come up with a cost plan and give any other parties more confidence in your idea. Once you have the keys it's important to get the contractor in there as quickly as possible to minimise down time. I have a lot of experience in getting the right information issued to get going with any enabling works.

 

Refurbishment

Refurbs can be rewarding simply because your money goes further. The infrastructure is in place and some elements of the existing fit out may be usable. My approach is to work with you to establish which elements of the interior to focus on and do this in a way that will reflect the budget available.
